We are excited to share progress of our renovation project with the community! We became the proud owners of 39 Hanover Street in September of 2020, enabling us to provide a permanent home for our students. We kicked off our Capital Campaign in November to raise $250,000.00 to assist with restoration of our historic building. Shovels literally hit the dirt on November 12th, beginning our 5-month renovation project.
Improvements are needed to bring to the building (constructed in 1963) up to meet current day codes. We will be completely transforming the upstairs of the building, which has been dormant for more than 15 years. In addition to creating a modern, energy-efficient building located on the newly improved Lebanon Mall, we will be expanding our school to include a middle school on the second floor (adjacent to the Mall). The need for 7th and 8th grades offering an alternative, hands-on, project-based education is great in the Upper Valley. We look forward to filling this void with the community support that has been so graciously offered by local school districts, community partners, and individual community members. Words of gratitude cannot begin to express how wonderful it is to be accepted into this community with a common goal of nurturing and educating for the youth of Upper Valley. Thank you to all who are making this dream a reality!
Capital Campaign Update: As of February 12, 2021, we have raised $180,000.00 of our $250,000.00 goal. Thank you to all who have contributed! Fundraising Update provided by USDA
