In the event of an absence, a parent must call the school to
confirm the excused absence. If no call is received, the Director will call home. No contact will result in an unexcused absence.
For students to engage in off-campus activities, written parent permission is required. Permission slips can be downloaded here.
LCS encourages outside internships for our students. A meeting
involving the Student, Director, Parent/Guardian and Internship Advisor must take place prior to approval of internship.
Progress Reports will be emailed home four times a year. The reports will be sent to the parent/guardian and the student.
LCA will follow the Lebanon School District’s lead in calling snow
days. Announcements will be made on local radio and television news stations and sent via a parent email from the Director.
Student-led conferences will be held three times throughout the
year: November, February & April. We look forward to 100% participation of students and parents/guardians.
LCS will approve work release on an individual basis. After a
meeting with the Student, Parent & Director, a decision will be made as to the options available to the student re: early release in order to report to a job.
